We are making important improvements to our water supply from Bull Run to help keep our water safe and abundant for generations to come.

Currently, the Portland Water Bureau is planning a new drinking water filtration facility and pipelines to comply with federal and state safe drinking water regulations. The Bull Run Filtration facility, (near SE Carpenter Lane and SE Cottrell Road) will remove the microorganism Cryptosporidium and other potential contaminants from our water by Sept. 2027.
